It integrates a synchronous step-down regulator controller (Vddq) with a 2A feed/pull current tracking LDO (VTT) and buffered low noise reference (VTTREF) . TPS51716 adopts D-CAP2 mode, combined with 500khz or 670khz operating frequency, without external compensation circuit can support ceramic output capacitor. VTTREF tracks VDDQ/2 with excellent accuracy of 0.8% . VTT provides 2A fill/pull current peak capability, requiring only 10μf of ceramic capacitance. In addition, the device has a dedicated LDO power input. TPS51716 provides a wealth of practical features as well as excellent power performance. It supports flexible power state control, places VTT at high resistance in s 3, and discharges Vddq, VTT, and VTTREF (soft-off) in S 4/s 5.
